Politics

This essay will discuss the proposition that the Black Panther Party was always doomed to fail in achieving its objectives. Examining their tactics and their goals the essay will attempt to understand why the Black Panther Party was unsuccessful.

This essay will attempt to define Islamism and account for it’s emergence in the Middle East during the 20th century. Definitions and illustrative examples of Islamist groups in the Middle Eastern states will be used to substantiate the definition.

Journalism

Media organisations from Australia, USA, UK, the Middle East  and Russia will be compared to better understand how location and ownership impacts on how news is reported and distributed.
The Russian media will be analyzed in terms of the relationship between the mass media and government control. Included in this analysis will be a consideration of the freedom of the press in the social, economic and political context in which the Russian media operates.
This essay will consider aspects of sub judice contempt of court, and use Derryn Hinch as a case study for how these laws operate.
This is a short opinion based speech presenting the topic of media convergence and citizen journalism. Considered in this speech is the rise of new media and the value of existing old media. It raises theories and arguments put forward by academics while also drawing some conclusions of its own.
